Interview with Marco Fustinoni on Ecomondo 2025!

This year INVENT is participating at ECOMONDO (November 4-7) in Rimini, Italy for the second time. In advance, Marco Fustinoni explains why it’s worth visiting the INVENT booth.

Could you tell us more about yourself and your role at INVENT?

I joined the INVENT family in 2015 mainly for purchase and logistics. But in these years the sales and after sales in particular, became part of my knowledge and daily business. Working at INVENT encourages me to take initiative beyond my formal responsibilities, such as taking care of our facilities in Cambiago, which makes my job special and diverse.
The full integration of INVENT Aeration Services S.R.L. into the INVENT Group was an important step in bringing the two companies closer together and creating stimulating synergies and collaborations, which also gives us a new image on the Italian market.

Why do you believe an exhibition is so important?

During the pandemic, for obvious reasons, phone and video calls became the standard way to communicate with clients, suppliers, and colleagues abroad. But there’s nothing quite like a live meeting — the body language, the smiles, the handshakes and applause, even the hugs — all of it brings a real, human feeling to business. It’s warmer, more fun, and adds genuine value to every negotiation and product presentation.

Which product do you like presenting to visitors at the INVENT booth the most?

The iDISC®-Aeration System, as I’m in the Disc Diffuser “world” since 2001, but the HYPERCLASSIC®-Mixing and Aeration System is also very interesting, as it is strong, robust, reliable, performance enhancing and energy saving.

If you had to describe ECOMONDO in three words, which would you choose?

I’ve chosen an acronym: CUB
Culture: Italy is the cradle of culture
Union: people from everywhere in the world meet here with same common denominator
Business: because that’s what an Exhibition is made for.
