Dordrecht INVENT HYPERCLASSIC municipal

HYPERCLASSIC®-Mixers in Dordrecht

The HYPERCLASSIC®-Mixer has been successfully used by Dutch water authorities for many years. INVENT mixers have been installed at numerous wastewater treatment plants, including Amsterdam, Maastricht, Haarlem and Dordrecht. With hundreds of mixers installed, INVENT has built up an extensive reference base in the Netherlands.

WWTP Dordrecht – Proven service life and continuous innovation

The Dordrecht Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) is a good example of this. In 2022, 22 HYPERCLASSIC®-Mixers were replaced after approximately 16 years of operation by the more efficient HYPERCLASSIC®-Mixer Evolution 7.

In 2026, Hollandse Delta Water Authority once again chose INVENT, replacing a further 15 existing HYPERCLASSIC®-Mixers. These mixers had been in reliable operation for approximately 20 years.

Dordrecht clearly demonstrates what INVENT stands for: long service life, reliability and continuous technological development.

Potential energy savings in mixing

Even an existing mixing installation that is still operating well may have the potential to become more energy-efficient. By comparing the existing installation with the latest HYPERCLASSIC®-Mixer Evolution 7, we can assess the potential for reducing mixing energy consumption.

This assessment includes, among other things:

  • current energy consumption and installed power
  • required mixing performance and process conditions
  • potential energy savings and payback period.
First analyse, then invest

Based on a technical analysis, a water authority can make a well-founded decision on whether to maintain, optimise or replace its existing mixers.
