Every day we need more clean water, worldwide. The space and energy consumption for water purification is therefore constantly increasing. Is there a way out of this? Through revolutionary new processes? One of these technologies is Granular Activated Sludge. But how can it become a real revolution for wastewater treatment?

Question 1: Is IFAT more than an exhibition?
Pedro Morate: Yes, of course, it is a technological and social event!
Agustin Fuentes: IFAT is the European benchmark in the water sector and a meeting point for all of us, customers, manufacturers or distributors.

Question 2: Please tell us about your best, funniest, most moving IFAT trade fair moment in the past
Pedro Morate: Definitively the beer evenings at Munich are great! It is a pleasure to go around and have dinner with our represented companies, such as INVENT. They really make great events (in and out of the fair).
Agustin Fuentes: Without a doubt, the dinners and parties that are celebrated on fair days. They do not disappoint, every year there is something to remember.

Question 3: What do you expect from IFAT 2022?
Pedro Morate: I expect to see a lot of people and friends from many parts of the world that I have not met since many years ago because of the Covid-19. Of course, I will also do some technology research.
Agustin Fuentes: Spending time again with colleagues from the different companies we represent and learning about the latest developments in the sector.

Question 4: Why are you taking part in person at IFAT?
Pedro Morate: The state-of-the-art technology is here and I am personally interested in knowing what is going on in the market. We are always looking for new products and companies to represent in Iberospec and this is the right place to find them.
Agustin Fuentes: Because it is totally necessary to renew contact after all these years almost locked up at home.

Question 1: Is IFAT more than an exhibition?
Johan Eriksson: Yes, It is also a meeting point for people within our business meet up and share new development and experiences. And time to be social with people from around the globe that you don’t meet more than every second year.

Question 2: Please tell us about your best, funniest, most moving IFAT trade fair moment in the past
Johan Eriksson: There has been so many! I think what I cherish the most is to be able to catch up with my colleagues in a very nice environment and to be able to show my Swedish and Norwegian customers the latest in our field. But I also have a lot of very funny moments especially from the traditional INVENT booth partys, that make me smile when I think of them.

Question 3: What do you expect from IFAT 2022?
Johan Eriksson: I hope for many customers from Sweden and Norway and to see some news in our field of operation. And I look forward to finally meet up in person with people again!

Question 4: Why are you taking part in person at IFAT?
Johan Eriksson: Since it is a great exhibition! I wouldn’t miss it for the world.

Ute, a few last words before IFAT starts?

Up until a few weeks ago it was still hard to believe that IFAT would take place like in “the old days”. Now we are standing here almost finished: The seminar for our sales partners starts today. The booth is taking on more and more concrete forms. The frame program around the show is organized. I look forward to seeing people from all over the world at IFAT 2022! Here we go!

Our set-up team is preparing everything at the Munich exhibition center so that our booth is ready on time. Thank you guys!

Finally, the time has come: The world’s leading trade show for the water and wastewater treatment industry will be opening its gates once again from May 30 until June 3, 2022, and INVENT will be there! For the INVENT staff, IFAT is a really special occasion. The stories that emerge during a trade show are always personal, oftentimes unforgettable, and at times even legendary.

Of course, we have not been sitting around twiddling our thumbs for the last four years. Like water, our most important element and content of our daily work, we too are in continuous flow and adapt easily to circumstances.

We have continued to optimize many of our products since we spoke to you at the last IFAT, because that is one of our main goals: Making a perfect product even better. That’s not always easy, but it’s not impossible either. In addition, we have also been able to assure many of our customers of our available products and services, and have planned and built quite a few new plants. We have been working around the world, and have implemented projects in both the industrial as well as municipal sector. Projects that we can’t wait to tell you about and that we know will inspire you!
