GRF-Mixer

The INVENT GRF-Mixer is characterized by its versatile customization options, making it ideal for numerous mixing tasks in smaller containers.

Product Information

The GRF-Mixer is a gear agitator in which the stirring shaft is directly mounted to the hollow shaft of the parallel shaft geared drive. This eliminates the need for an additional bearing housing. The gear bearings are optimally tailored to the respective requirements and are also adequately dimensioned.

With shaft lengths up to 6,000 mm and motor powers of 75.0 kW or even higher, numerous application possibilities arise. The GRF-Mixer is available in various gear ratios for speeds ranging from 30 to 600 rpm. The agitator shafts are balanced for concentric run after assembly of the mixer.

Upon request, the GRF-Mixer can be supplied with a frequency converter motor of up to 7.5 kW. Additionally, there is a type test certificate for explosive zone 0.

Products and Team

The wide range of INVENT products fulfills all process- and plant dependent requirements for biological wastewater treatment reliably and energy efficient.

Applications of the INVENT GRF-Mixer

Flash-Mixing

With flash mixing or fast mixing processes, the hydraulic residence time is only a few seconds. In order to achieve good mixing in this short time, the GRF-Mixer was developed. It provides the perfect solution for operation at high speeds.

Homogenization

The GRF-Mixer is the optimal solution for an excellent homogenization result. Due to the sophisticated design of the agitator blade, the fluid is accelerated both in the axial and in the radial direction and thus achieves a perfect mixing result.

Precipitation

For the destabilization of the colloidal state, a high energy input and a long contact time between the flocculant and the colloid are required for the formation of micro flocs. The GRF-Mixer combines these aspects with its mixer blade shape and its design for high speeds.
