The many years of experience with SBRs and the detailed knowledge of the fluid mechanical requirements of such SBR decanters were the basis in the development of the iDEC®-SBR Decanting System.
The development therefore focused on the realization of uniformly low inlet velocities and a low pressure drop in the discharge pipe. This allows high effluent quality and high effluent volumes to be realized.
The collector head is designed in such a way that a constant inflow velocity of the clear water is achieved through each opening along its entire length. Consequently, low local inflow velocities and turbulence in the tank are desired. Consistent discharge of clear water, without risking sucking settled sludge out of the sludge bed due to local velocity peaks, is thus ensured.
TheiDEC®-SBR-Decanting-System is produced completely in high-quality stainless steel, which guarantees a long service life.
