Applications of the INVENT CYBERPITCH®-Mixer
Flash-Mixing
Flash mixing typically involves hydraulic retention times of only a few seconds. To achieve effective mixing within this short time frame, the fluid-mechanically optimized CYBERPITCH®-Mixer was developed. It combines high-speed operation with a fluid-mechanically optimized impeller, making it the perfect solution.
Homogenization
The CYBERPITCH®-Mixer is the optimal solution for an excellent homogenization result. Due to the sophisticated design of the agitator blade, the fluid is accelerated both in the axial and in the radial direction and thus achieves a perfect mixing result.
Precipitation
For the precipitation of the colloidal state, a high energy input and a long contact time between the flocculant and the colloid are required for the formation of micro flocs. The CYBERPITCH®-Mixer combines these aspects with its flow-optimized agitator blade shape and its design for high speeds.
Mixing of flocculant
For the process steps of coagulation, precipitation, and neutralization, various chemicals, such as flocculants, coagulants, acids, or alkalis, need to be dissolved, suspended, or preconditioned. To prepare, process, and store these additives, the required chemicals are mixed with water in tanks and then dosed into the wastewater. The CYBERPITCH®-Mixer provides an optimal technical solution with its intense energy input.

In some cases, the wastewater flow must first be equalized before further treatment.
For this purpose, different wastewater streams from various sources are mixed together in a mixing and equalization tank to ensure a uniform feed to the subsequent treatment stages.

Neutralization

Trace substance elimination
For the elimination of trace substances, it is often necessary to mix an activated carbon suspension into the pretreated wastewater.
