Bottom flow velocity measurements are occasionally required for acceptance and as performance verification of agitators. The correct execution such measurements in complex, three-dimensional flows requires extensive knowledge of fluid mechanics and experience in preparation, execution and analysis. For the measurement itself, we exclusively use ultrasonic Doppler measuring devices, designed to capture all three velocity components at the same time. This is the only way to obtain reliable, conclusive results.
