E-FLEX®-Floating Aerator

The floating version of the proven E-FLEX®-Aeration System for use in waste water ponds or basins where floor mounting and leveling is not possible.

Product Information

Membrane aeration systems are usually permanently installed or removed from the basin floor.

For cases in which floor installation is not possible or only practicable under difficult conditions, INVENT has developed the Floating E-FLEX®-Aeration System, the floating version of the proven E-FLEX®-Aeration System.

Compared to conventional floor-mounted aerators, the Floating E-FLEX®-Aeration System includes the following advantages and properties:

  • Use of the proven, highly efficient Floating E-FLEX®-Aeration System modules
  • Individual aerator chains cover a large area during operation and thus ensure efficient use of the entire tank volume
  • Leveling of individual modules is not necessary
  • Thanks to the use of floating air supply lines, installation is also possible when the basin is full

In our videos we introduce our INVENT Aeration Systems:

    Products and Team

The wide range of INVENT products fulfills all process- and plant dependent requirements for biological wastewater treatment reliably and energy efficient.

Aeration Systems for Modern Wastewater Treatment

Applications of the INVENT E-FLEX®-Floating Aerator

    BOD or COD degradation

Efficient oxygen supply to microorganisms for biological pollutant reduction:

The easy-to-install E-FLEX®-Aeration System delivers the required oxygen with high efficiency, leading to reduced operating costs.

    Nitrification

Nitrification describes the bacterial conversion of ammonia (NH3) or ammonium ions (NH4+) into nitrate (NO3−). This process occurs in two steps: first, ammonia is oxidized to nitrite, followed by the oxidation of nitrite to nitrate.

The E-FLEX®-Aeration System delivers the required oxygen with high efficiency, thereby minimizing operating costs.

    Lagoon basin

In some cases, wastewater is treated in what are known as pond treatment plants. Instead of using concrete basins, these systems rely on one or more liners to seal the ground. Since traditional bottom-mounted aeration systems aren’t feasible here, the E-FLEX®-FLOAT Aeration System was specially developed for this purpose. It provides a safe and efficient way to supply oxygen to pond treatment plants.

Odor prevention in waste water ponds, lakes

In heavily polluted waters or pond systems where lightly contaminated wastewater is collected, occasional or continuous aeration may be necessary to prevent odors caused by anaerobic processes. In such cases, the E-FLEX®-FLOAT Aeration System provides a reliable and efficient aeration solution.
